They also lead you to a huge staircase set up alongside an impressive cliff wall and make your way to the Abij&eacute;vis summit by climbing the fire watchtower. Stretching between the Centre de services de Notre-Dame-du-Nord and Hwy 391 on Hydro-Québec’s private road, this designated pathway is open to the public. It has no cycling corridor as such, but it has cycling pictograms painted on the road and on road signs. This road, recently asphalted, sometimes borders the river. It offers an amazing contrast of magnificent forest landscapes, industrial plants and heritage sites. To access this pathway: 4 km past Notre-Dame-du-Nord on Hwy 101 North, via Chemin Hydro-Québec, then Chemin Rapides-des-Iles; or 4 km past Angliers on Hwy 391 South, via Chemin du Pouvoir.
