About the club

In September 2007, Tourisme-Abitibi-Témiscamingue launched a line of service that holds the potential for great economic development: Meetings – Conventions – Events.

In order to implement this new line of service successfully, Tourisme Abitibi-Témiscamingue intends to tap into the expertise of the citizens of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, men and women, sitting on various committees, board of directors, organizations or associations at regional, national or international level, to promote the region as an excellent place to hold special activities.

As a means to bring this audacious initiative to successful conclusion, Tourisme Abitibi-Témiscamingue has opted to create, together with regional role players, an Ambassador Club in every MRC of Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Club members will be entrusted with the primary mission of inviting colleagues to hold a meeting, convention or event here, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Tourisme Abitibi-Témiscamingue has developed and implemented several tools to support our Ambassadors in their assignment (promotion kit, e-bulletin, certificates, business cards) and facilitate the organization and conduct of special events.
