Boutique souvenirs Expo-Art sells creations by twenty local artists and artisans or so as well as a wide variety of souvenirs, including the new collection Sucre d'Or. Be original, and offer an assortment of fine chocolates sprinkled with edible gold dust or barley sugar made with edible gold flakes.While at the tourist information office, take a good look at the giant work of art by Cree artist Stephen Sheshamush. A soapstone sculpture weighing more than 2 tons, "Mère Nature" symbolizes the friendship existing between the Cree Nation and the Val-d’Or people.
