The Nature Interpretation Centre is the ideal place to polish your knowledge of wetland plant and wildlife. Watch a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis. Admire murals by regional artists illustrating the marsh in all its splendor. Discover how birds are ringed. This visit covers an array of fascinating topics to the greatest pleasure of nature lovers. To complete the visit of the centre, explore the Laperrière marsh, a site that is home to a wealth of plant and animal species. Access at the Centre or by 400, chemin Notre-Dame Sud, 2 km from Ville-Marie; you will find an observation tower, a large deck, a listening station, as well as various infrastructures such as parking and picnic areas. Bring your binoculars and camera. Who knows, you might just run into one of the many painted turtles that have made it their home?
