Présentation

Centre thématique fossilifère proposes a new exhibition on the fascinating world of fossils from here and elsewhere, as well as many experiments and specimen handling experiences, as a tribute to planet Earth and the evolution of living organisms. From fossil insects to insects of today, discover a great deal of relevant information on their composition and role. The Centre also offers children workshops, outdoor visits, packages, excursions and the possibility to return home with souvenir fossils. Admission

Adults: $5
Children (6 to 12 years of age): $2.50

Schedule

June 24 thru September 4, daily, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Les fossiles au théâtre: July 24, 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The rest of the year, upon reservation.

Averge duration of a visit

1h30 min.

Fossil-Safari

The centre offers a fossil-safari. Excursions by road, where limited fossil collecting is allowed. Then, in the workshop you will learn how to clear and identify fossils.

Schedule: excursions available from May 1 to September 20. No reservation required from June 24 to August 20.
