Collection archéologique Joseph Bérubé
Présentation
The Café des Rumeurs, situated in Gallichan's old presbytery highlights the archeological collection of Mr. Joseph Bérubé who, in the '60s, identified five Native occupation sites and that of a French fur-trading post in the vicinity of Lake Abitibi. Hence, the dinner tables that have been converted into displays show Mr. Bérubé's findings such as arrowheads, pipes, scrapers, necklaces and axes.
