In Val-d'Or for six consecutive days, the Festival d'humour de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue (comedy festival) attracts over 20 000 festival goers. See Québec's most famous stand-up comics in three gala shows presented at the Cité de l'Or outdoor amphitheatre. Bonus presentations: an improv match, the Concours de la relève finals (budding humorists), indoors shows and children's activities.
