Les Jardins à fleur de peau

Presentation

Situated 5 km from downtown Val-d'Or, on the shores of Blouin Lake, this singular garden guarded by dragons was designed by artists-sculptors fond of gardening, bonsai and poetry. With various themes on show, the oriental-style landscaping suggests a stroll dotted with poems, a cascade, streams and stone bridges that all come together in an invitation to the calm and meditative atmosphere they create. On site, you will find an art boutique filled with the unique works of art by the owners of the site, Jacques Pelletier (whose art has been exhibited across Canada) and Francyne Plante.

Children (6 to 17 years of age) $5
Guided tours : $12 per person.
Activities and special rates for groups (10 people and over), upon revervation.

Schedule

June 24 thru Labor Day, Thursday, Friday,
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit possible by appointment outside this period.
