Presentation
Marchez sur 2,7 milliards d’années, là où les eaux se séparent (Walk over 2.7 billion years, at the very place where the waters part). Throughout its splendor and innumerable vistas, the Parc national d’Aiguebelle is the warden of a rich, regional, natural heritage. Several short and long distance hiking trails allow one to discover its whole splendour. They will take you to a suspension bridge that crosses a fault-lake. They also lead you to a huge staircase set up alongside an impressive cliff wall and make your way to the Abijévis summit by climbing the fire watchtower. Try bird observation, explore the marsh in a canoe, let the rabaska glide by extraordinary panoramas, cross the 13.6 km2 of a lake in a sea kayak, relive the history of this site or fish in a calm lake, only a few of the activities offered here. And if you don’t have all of this equipment at your disposal, the park offers rentals on site: recreational kayaks, pedalboats, life jackets and more. Various types of accommodation are also available: chalet, ready-to-use Huttopia tents, camping, rustic camp (for 2 to 16 people). In winter, a 38 km network of marked and groomed trails that link the rustic camps awaits Nordic skiers and snowshoeing enthusiasts. Note: pets not admitted.
