Refuge Pageau

Présentation

The extraordinary story of Refuge Pageau is first and foremost the incredible relation the Pageau family has developed and nurtured with animals. Refuge Pageau shelters orphaned, lost or injured animals. These are returned as soon as possible to their natural habitat, but others must stay at the shelter at long term. Refuge Pageau welcomes moose, bears, wolves, lynx, Virginia deer, raccoons, birds of prey and, in the summertime, many young animals left to themselves. As you follow the shelter’s wood trail, learn how and why Michel and Louise Pageau embarked on this amazing adventure more than 25 years ago.
