Présentation

Its immense territory (12 589 km2) half of which is part of Abitibi-Témiscamingue and the wealth of water resources of the réserve faunique La Vérendrye (over 4 000 lakes) make this a choice destination for anglers, canoe-camping enthusiasts and other sport and outdoor activity lovers. The reserve is managed by the Sépaq and is accessible by four visitor information centres, the north entrance of which is situated in the region, 57 km south of Val-d’Or. Here, the visitor will find different services and activities.
