In 2001, La Sarre founded a history society that established its headquarters in one of the oldest homes of the town, the Lavigne House. Get the feel of life in yesteryears and visit the various thematic exhibitions, the collection of old photos and the scale models representing the covered bridges of Abitibi-West.
