Québec's largest fishing tournament is back!
11 May 2009
Ever since the dawn of time, sport fishing has aroused passions and stimulated the imaginary. Each one of us has a fishing story to tell, a picture to keep and cherish, a memorable event to recollect. Thanks to this fishing tournament, your fishing story might turn very profitable.
The largest fishing tournament in Quebec will last until September 30, 2009, in 350 participating outfitting operations and members of the Fédération des pourvoiries du Québec as well as on the tournament Web site (www.letournoidepeche.com).
With more than 21 prizes totaling $35,000 in value, including 8 participation prizes, the Tournoi de pêche en pouvoirie will make many people happy again this year. The category called Mon premier poisson (My very first catch) is entirely dedicated to young recruits (0-18 years old). Ma plus belle photo de pêche and Ma meilleure histoire de pêche (My very best fishing picture and My very best fishing story) are still extremely popular categories. Other categories correspond to fish species (bass, pike, walleye, trout, etc.), not to mention the largest catch (all species) tournament category. The new Relève component will give children (8 to 13 years old) a chance to win a five-night stay at the Académie de pêche de la pourvoirie Lac-Saint- Pierre Chasse et Pêche. This year, the FADOQ Network introduces a new prize dedicated to senior citizens (50 and over), and the lucky winner will enjoy a stay Au pays de Réal Massé.

Good luck!
