Snowmobile Trail Permit

In Québec, when you buy a snowmobile trail permit (mandatory), the club or region where you purchased the permit is credited the major part of this income for the maintenance of its trails. This is why it is important to purchase snowmobile trail permit, at the place where you will be riding!

Tips for savings!

  1. Less expensive mailing costs!

Buy your access rights with friends and have them all sent to a single address to save on mailing costs. A single address, a single mailing cost and that does the trick! If you wish to bypass mailing costs totally, get your access rights at one of our sales outlets in Ontario. They are listed on the snowmobile trail map and our snowmobile microsection. Are you part of a group? Get in touch ahead with the sales outlet for the number of access rights you need.

  2. An annual right at almost the same cost as a weekly one!

You are a Canadian resident? Buy an annual right on presale at $260 and ask the refund for the liability insurance expenses included in the price if you are already covered by such an insurance. The sum refunded: $42. In the end, your annual right will have cost you $218, whereas a right for 7 days costs you $180. For only $38 more, you can ride province-wide all season and at any time you choose. The form is supplied in English if you buy an access right through our services or one of our sales outlets in Ontario. Otherwise, please use the form in French that is included in the documents that accompany your access right.
