Centre d'exposition d'Amos

This exhibition center is dedicated chiefly to the presentation of visual arts, but more particularly to contemporary art. The center divides into three halls where a dozen temporary exhibitions are displayed per year in addition to occasional exhibitions of scientific and historical nature. The center has a boutique that abounds in original artworks and items handmade by local artists and artisans.

Sector: Amos-Harricana

Historic

Founded in 1968, the Centre d'exposition d'Amos is a museal institution acknowledged by the Quebec government. Now administered by the municipal authorities, its mission is supported by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. Besides being a space to promote visual arts, it provides a teaching and entertainment service where several activities are developed in connection with its exhibitions.
