Collection archéologique Joseph Bérubé

Housed in the former presbytery of Gallichan, this collection features some of the archaeological items discovered in five sites near Lake Abitibi once occupied by Aboriginals, including the site of a French trading post. Several objects found by Mr. Bérubé are displayed, such as arrows, pipes, scrapers, necklaces and axes.

Opening hours: June 24 thru August 17, daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the rest of the year, upon reservation. Guided tours: offered. Reservations suggested for groups of 4 to 8 people.
