This museum plunges visitors into the life of a Témiscamingue village of the 1940s and 1950s. Experience family and social highlights, meet community movers and shakers and witness dramatic changes at the turn of the ’50s that transformed the face of agriculture and rural life. Linger at Resto-dépanneur Souvenirs d'antan, an old-time restaurant and convenience store, and enjoy dishes made by Guérinoises who carry the torch of traditions. A video makes it possible for persons with reduced mobility to visit all levels of the presbytery and the farmer’s house.
Restaurant and meal packages are available for groups (12 people). Member of the Réseau muséal de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue: reseaumuseal-at.ca.
