Parc national d'Opémican

Paddling on the Kipawa River and Lake, climbing the cliffs skirting the Témiscamingue Lake, gathering around an open fire under the protective dome of tall pine trees, while listening to fascinating Anishinabeg legends… Be among the first to live the Opémican national park experience! The “Découverte de la Pointe Opémican”, a sector to discover in 2019, will become a prime destination for the entire family. Other new features this year include a campground with services, eleven new ready-to-camp facilities, a playground, a boat and bike rental office, a rally for children and trails accessible for all users. Also, nature lovers will be extremely pleased with the new “Aventure de la rivière Kipawa” sector while children will have great fun putting their skills to the test in the adventure trail, near the waterfall.
