Site historique Domaine Breen

Built in 1906 by the town’s blacksmith, Thomas Breen, this century-old house was recognized as a historical site in 2006. Because the authenticity of the architecture and furniture has been preserved, it provides a privileged access to the history, lifestyle and culture of the early 20th century. Walk through the beautiful flower garden and discover a photo exhibition of double barns. Visit the church, built in 1902 and one of the oldest churches in Abitibi-Témiscamingue; amazingly, the Casavant pipe organ inside the church still functions after all these years. New attraction: the Balado Découverte audio heritage tour.
