Visit the ground facilities of this former mine, which includes an analysis laboratory. Learn about the mine’s history through the exhibition “Gold in our veins” and the various mining trades. Visitors to the underground mine must be at least 6 years old and 1.09 m tall; warm clothing recommended and closed shoes required (underground temperature: 8 °C).
Les jardins à Fleur de Peau
Located on the edge of lac Blouin and blooming under the watchful eyes of dragons, these singular gardens were designed by sculpting artists deeply fond of gardening, bonsai and poetry. As an invitation to relaxation and meditation, the oriental style landscaping unfolds through various themes along a path featuring poems, a cascade, streams and stone bridges. An art boutique proposes unique works of art by Jacques Pelletier and Francyne Plante.
Microbrasserie Le Prospecteur
Craft beers entirely brewed on the premises. Le
Prospector serves gourmet pub meals prepared with local food products. While sipping a cool beer, admire the painting adorning the exterior wall of our building: “Les hommes et la mine” was created by well-known mural artist Omen. A shop also offers take-out beers and merch.
