Belvédère de Malartic

Located close to Musée minéralogique de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue, the lookout point allows visitors to enjoy a unique view over Canadian Malartic Mine’s pit and the operations that take place there. The Canadian Malartic Mine is the largest open pit gold mine in Canada.

Village-minier-de-Bourlamaque

Explore the Bourlamaque Mining Village where its pretty log homes are still inhabited. Make a stop in a 1940’s residential décor to step into the shoes of any of the characters and make choices resulting in diverse consequences. La Cité de l’Or

Become a miner for a day, and enjoy the unique experience of descending 91 meters (300 feet) into an underground mine. Also, visit the ground facilities of this former mine. Learn about the mine’s history through the exhibition “De l’Or plein les veines” and about the various mining trades, and feel the uncommon sensation that occurs during drilling operations.
