Latulipe is a true gem. The village is surrounded by water and accessible via seven bridges. One of them, the Landry covered bridge, was designated a historic monument in 2007 and is adorned at the entrance by four frescos painted by Anicinabe artist Frank Polson. Make a stop at lac des Bois, one of Témiscamingue’s nicest lakes, with its soft sandy bottom and beach, picnic area and campgrounds. There are two trails you just can’t miss: one leads to the Ovide waterfall, along Fraser River; the other, in Pointe-aux-Roches Park, skirts lac des Quinze. The Pointe-aux-Roches Park is truly appreciated by mountain bikers.
